NYCSLA would like to send a warm welcome to Richard Hasenyager, the new director of library services in New York City. Mr. Hasenyager comes to us from Texas, where he was the director of library services for the North East Independent School District. He was recently profiled in School Library Journal, and he was featured as one of 2011’s Movers and Shakers in Library Journal. We all look forward to working with him during the 2012-13 school year and beyond!
