Librarians in Need: Hurricane Sandy aid from Simon & Schuster

A message from Simon & Schuster:
Through our Education and Library marketing department, we are offering to any public or school library damaged by Hurricane Sandy a donation of 500 “best of” titles in order to help in the restoration of their collections. We have so far partnered with the Teachers College Reading and Writing Project’s Literacy Lifeboats initiative to provide help to New York City schools, and the New Jersey Library Association, and have invited other state and regional associations, as well as individual libraries and schools, to participate with us in this effort.
Any library interested in a donation may contact Michelle Fadlalla, Director of Marketing, Education & Library, Simon & Schuster, Inc. directly at 212-698-7325 or michelle.fadlalla@simonandschuster.com.
