Please join us for Drag Queen Story Hour for HVLA members and NYCDOE librarians (NYCSLA) on Saturday, May 12th from 2-4 pm at Caveat. HVLA and NYCSLA librarians and other school faculty/staff members and their children are invited! (No need to have children to attend.)

This will be an opportunity to experience Drag Queen Story Hour, to speak with librarians and teachers who have hosted the event in their schools, and to enjoy a fabulous afternoon of drinks, snacks, stories, crafts, conversation and drag! Plus, Greenlight Bookstore will be selling beautiful books!

Did you know DQSH events are complimentary for public schools?

This program is eligible for 2 hours of CTLE credit in Content. The New York City Department of Education is recognized by the New York State Education Department’s Office of Teaching Initiatives as an approved sponsor of CTLE for Professional Classroom Teachers, School Leaders and Level III Teaching Assistants.
